The Oceana Strand is an homage to the graduated pearl strands worn by mid-century Australian women.
Each pearl is individually hand-knotted onto silk thread — a centuries-old technique that protects the pearls from rubbing against one another while allowing the strand to drape naturally. The pearls are graded by hand, graduating in size from 6mm at the ends to 9mm at the centre. The 14k gold clasp is crafted in-house using a lost-wax casting process, then hand-polished.
